Our Purpose
The purpose of New Vitality Ministry is to glorify God by ministering to, assisting and encouraging pastors, their spouses and churches in achieving their God ordained goals while maintaining personal, emotional and spiritual health.
Our Objectives
To provide pastoral ministry to pastors and their spouses to help keep them personally, spiritually, and emotionally healthy and to mentor them for greater effectiveness. In the same way that pastors and their wives minister to their congregations, New Vitality ministry focuses on ministering to them. Pastors and their spouses are our primary congregation. We disciple through mentoring, coaching and encouraging. We worship through prayer and ministry of the Word of God. We provide fellowship by being a safe listening ear. We serve by helping them formulate better ways to minister to their congregations. In short, we minister to ministers.
To provide churches with assessment assistance and consultation, and to help churches properly care for their pastoral staff members. We will assist churches in accomplishing their God ordained purposes: the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the building up of believers in Christian living and discipleship, the worship of God, service to God inside the church and our, and fellowship together. We provide churches with a resource list of people that can help fill needs that exist in their churches.
Our Statement of Faith
We believe that the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the complete and revealed Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original writings, and that it has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. (Psalm 19:7-11; Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 5:18; II Timothy 3:15-17; II Peter 1:21).
We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These are equal in every divine perfection and perform distinct but harmonious functions in creation, redemption, and providence. God, an infinite, personal spirit, is perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, measureless in power and creator of heaven and earth. (Genesis 1:26; Isaiah 9:6-7; Matthew 28:19-20; John 1:1,14; 10:30; Deuteronomy 6:4).
We believe in God, the Father and rejoice that He concerns himself mercifully in the affairs of mankind, that He hears and answers prayer, that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ. (Psalm 19; John 14:13; Romans 5:8; I John 4:16).
We believe in Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, God's only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. We believe in His sinless life, miracles, and teachings. We believe in His substitutionary atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension into heaven, His perpetual High priestly intercession for His people, and His personal visible return to the world according to His promise. (John 1:1-14; Acts 1:11; Philippians 2:5-11; I Corinthians 15:1-8; Hebrews 1:1-10; 4:14).
We believe in God, the Holy Spirit, who came from the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment and to save, sanctify, comfort and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. (John 3:3-7; 16:8-14; Romans 8:26; Acts 2:38-39; Ephesians 5:18; I Corinthians 12:13).
We believe that all people are sinners by nature and by choice and are, therefore, under condemnation. We believe that every human being is responsible to God in matters of faith. We believe that those who trust Jesus Christ as Savior are declared righteous by God as a gift on the basis of the work of Christ and are placed by the Holy Spirit into the living spiritual body of which Christ is the head, and of which all believers are members, the Church. Those who believe will rejoice forever in God’s presence and those who refuse to accept Christ will be forever separated from God. (John 14:6; Romans 3:10-28; Romans 6:23; Titus 3:5-7; Ephesians 2:8-9).
We believe that God is working through the Church today to bring the good news of salvation through Christ to humanity, to make disciples of believers, and to provide them with fellowship, worship & opportunity for service. (Matthew 3:13-17; 26:26-29; I Corinthians 10:16-17; 11:23-26).
Our History
New Vitality ministry was founded in December 2016. We began ministry to pastors and their spouses in February of 2017. Pastor Mike Anderson was our founder and first minister to ministers.
He was already ministering to a number of men and he continued to meet more and expand the sphere of the ministry. In addition to pastors, we are also ministering to missionaries and chaplains. He has decades of experience in ministry.
We are currently working diligently to keep pastor’s and their spouses strong and healthy in their personal lives and ministry.
