Strengthening Pastors and Churches
The purpose of New Vitality Ministry is to glorify God by ministering to, assisting and encouraging pastors, their spouses and churches in achieving their God ordained goals while maintaining personal, emotional and spiritual health.
There are a multitude of challenges confronting pastors and leaders in the church today. Pastors are focused on ministering and serving those in their church and dedicating their lives to building God’s kingdom. But who is ministering to the ministers?
"Fifteen hundred pastors leave the ministry each month due to moral failure, spiritual burnout, or contention in their churches (unvaried data, probably the number is mostly due to transitions and not necessarily leaving altogether)." Dr. Richard J Krejcir, Schaeffer Institute, data distilled from research from Focus on the Family and Fuller Seminary
“50% of the ministers starting out will not last 5 years.” Ex:pastors.com
“Pastors have a career lifespan today of only about 14 years, which is less than half of the career span for pastors several decades ago.” - Jim & Debbie Hogan, Shepherding Shepherds
Only “1 out of every 10 ministers will actually retire as a minister in some form.” - Pastoral Care Inc - Statistics provided by The Fuller Institute, George Barna, and Pastoral Care Inc.
We are passionate about ministering to pastors and churches who can benefit from encouragement, support and love that can help revitalize their ministries.
